Chestnut Barn is a beautifully converted three bedroom barn set within the peaceful 1,500 acre private Notgrove Estate in the heart of the Cotswolds. Surrounded by rolling countryside and with excellent on site and nearby facilities, it offers high quality self catering accommodation that is ideal for families, groups of friends, and guests with limited mobility.
The ground floor has a spacious open plan layout with a comfortable living area, a contemporary kitchen, and large windows that fill the space with natural light. Designed with accessibility in mind, the ground floor includes a bedroom and an open plan en suite wet room with grab rails, making it suitable for guests with reduced mobility. While the barn is not fully wheelchair accessible due to some tighter spaces around furniture, it is a great option for those who prefer to stay on one level. A shower chair can be provided on request.
Upstairs, there are two further generously sized bedrooms, each decorated with soft furnishings and warm touches, along with a stylish family bathroom. Built by local craftsmen using traditional Cotswold stone, the barn blends rustic character with modern comfort.
Outside, a private garden with a table, chairs, and a charcoal BBQ offers the perfect space for outdoor dining during warmer months. Inside, the wood burner creates a cosy atmosphere for evenings in, with logs and kindling supplied. Chestnut Barn is dog friendly too, and helpful extras such as bowls, towels, and poo bags are provided.
Families are well looked after, with a wide selection of baby and toddler equipment available on request. The estate also includes a fantastic shared games room with table tennis, table football, board games, and a children’s play area, offering plenty to keep everyone entertained.
Chestnut Barn provides a peaceful and stylish base for exploring the Cotswolds, whether you are planning long countryside walks, village visits, or simply looking for a relaxing and accessible break in beautiful surroundings.
