Creating Your First Listing
Once your profile is complete, you are ready to add your first property or service listing.
This guide walks you through the full process in the same order as the listing form, from selecting your package to previewing and submitting for approval. The aim is to help you create a clear, mobility friendly listing that guests can trust when planning accessible holidays.
Before you start
Have your photos ready, along with your pricing, key accessibility details (layout, any steps, doorway widths if known, shower type, equipment available), and your contact details. If you are adding more than one property, it is best to prepare everything first and add all listings before checkout so you can make use of the multi-listing discount.
1) Choose your listing type
From the Owner Dashboard, select Add Listing and choose the listing type:
- Rental: For holiday properties and holiday lets
- Service: For accessibility and disability-focused services such as transport, charities, or equipment providers
2) Select your package
Next, choose the package you want for this listing:
- Free
- Standard
- Premium
Your package affects what you can add and which features appear on your listing. For example, Standard and Premium support an external booking link, and Premium includes additional booking and calendar options.
3) Gallery
This is the first section you complete and it makes a big difference to enquiries. Add photos that clearly show the property and its accessibility features.
Upload photos that show:
- The entrance and approach (paths, steps, ramps, thresholds)
- Parking and distance to the entrance
- Living spaces and turning space where relevant
- Bedrooms (especially space around beds)
- Bathrooms, wet rooms, showers, grab rails, shower chairs
- Any equipment you provide (if visible)
- Outdoor areas and key paths
Featured image and ordering
Click an image to set it as the featured image (shown with a star). You can drag and drop thumbnails to reorder the gallery so your best and clearest images appear first.
Property tour video (optional)
If you have a video tour, paste the URL into the Property Tour field when available.
4) Labels and key details
This section controls what appears on the property card in search results and at the top of your listing page. Use it to highlight the most important information quickly.
Card Labels
These appear on the property card in search results. They help guests scan listings quickly and understand what your property offers at a glance.
Key Accessibility
These appear at the top of your listing as Key Details. Choose the most important mobility friendly and accessibility highlights.
Key Amenities
These also appear at the top of your listing as Key Details. Select the top amenities that matter most to guests.
Key Details limit
You can display up to 6 accessibility and 6 amenity key details in total. Keep these reserved for your strongest selling points.
Notable Features (owner entered)
Add up to 6 notable features that do not fit neatly into the tick boxes. Examples include:
- Distance to local amenities or attractions
- A feature not covered in key amenities or accessibility
- Useful practical information that helps guests decide quickly
5) Property text
This section is where you explain the property clearly and build trust with guests.
Listing Title
Use a clear, descriptive title that explains what makes the property suitable for accessible stays.
Examples:
- Level-entry coastal bungalow with wet room
- Cottage with step-free access and ground floor bedroom
- Town centre apartment with accessible parking nearby
Keywords or phrases (max 10)
Add up to 10 keyword phrases to help guests find your listing. Keep them relevant and specific.
Examples:
- Mobility friendly holiday let Devon
- Step-free cottage near beach
- Wet room holiday accommodation
Property Overview
Write a brief, friendly summary describing the property and who it is best suited for. Keep it honest and easy to scan.
Property Accessibility
Add the practical detail guests need for planning, such as:
- Layout (ground floor living, any internal steps)
- Doorway widths if known
- Bathroom and shower type
- Any equipment provided
- Parking distance and surfaces
- Anything that could be a limitation for guests with limited mobility
6) Property details
Complete the core property information:
- Property type
- Dogs: select yes, no, or assistance dogs
- How many dogs allowed (if applicable)
- Minimum booking price
- Bedrooms
- Bathrooms
- Max guests (sleeps)
Tip: For minimum booking price, enter your lowest available price point. If your minimum stay is more than one night, base it on the lowest stay cost.
7) Accessibility, amenities and equipment
This section is completed using tick boxes and equipment entry fields.
Accessibility and amenities
Tick all options that apply. The more accurate this is, the easier it is for guests to filter and find the right property.
Equipment
Use the equipment fields to list what you provide and any associated cost.
When adding prices, include the £ symbol so costs are clear (for example £10 per stay).
8) Extras and fees
This section is used for optional extras, charges, and paid services.
Fees
Add common charges such as:
- Security deposits
- Pet fees
- Other required fees
Services
Add optional paid services such as:
- Transport
- Catering
- Activities
When adding prices, include the £ symbol (for example £25, £50) to avoid confusion.
9) Location
Add your location details carefully so guests can understand where they will be staying.
- Enter your Google address
- Select your country, region, county, and city/town/village
- The latitude and longitude will populate automatically from the Google address
Tip: Make sure the Google address is accurate because it drives the map pin location.
10) Contact details
This section controls how guests can contact you and where your external link points.
- Add your email address
- Add your website
If you do not have a website, add one of your social links in the website field. This field is used as the external link on your listing. - Add your social profiles in the relevant boxes (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and others if shown)
- Enable the Contact Owner Widget (this uses the email address you enter)
11) Booking and external booking options
These options depend on your package.
Premium listings
Premium listings can include a Calendar HTML iframe. This is used to embed your booking calendar directly into your listing. Premium also has the reservations system enabled by default.
Standard and Premium listings
Both Standard and Premium listings can include an External Booking Link that takes guests directly to your booking page.
12) Preview, submit and approval
When you have completed all sections:
- Select Preview
- Double-check your key details, accessibility information, pricing, and contact links
- Select Submit
After checkout, the website administrator will review your listing, confirm it, and set it live.
Adding multiple listings
If you are adding multiple properties, add them all before you go to checkout so you can make use of the multi-listing discount.
