Owned and operated by a tetraplegic and full-time wheelchair user, this converted annexe has been thoughtfully designed with accessibility in mind, ensuring a comfortable and inclusive stay for all visitors. Situated in a semi-rural location just 10 minutes from Poole Harbour, Hill Lodge features three carefully appointed bedrooms, onsite parking, and a host of accessible features that enhance the overall experience.
A standout feature of Hill Lodge is the spacious ground-floor bedroom, complete with an en-suite wet room. This room is equipped with a profiling bed, shower chair, and toilet riser, offering additional comfort and ease of use for guests with mobility challenges. The living space is designed to be fully accessible, with a Flexistep that seamlessly converts from steps to a platform lift, allowing easy access to the rest of the property. The fully equipped kitchen features wheel-under counters, ensuring that meal preparation is a breeze for all guests, regardless of mobility.
The property’s bedrooms include the ground-floor master bedroom with an en-suite wet room, as well as two additional bedrooms on the first floor. These rooms offer comfortable accommodations, with profiling beds in the ground-floor room and non-profiling beds in the upstairs rooms. The upstairs bedrooms are equipped with ensuites, but they do feature sloped rooflines at the foot of the beds.
