The property offers level access entry with onsite parking and space for a wheelchair accessible vehicle. Paths around the immediate accommodation are firm and suitable for mobility aids.
Living Areas
The circular open-plan living and dining space is located on the ground floor with level flooring throughout. Floor-to-ceiling windows provide excellent natural light, and the layout allows generous circulation space for wheelchair users.
Kitchen
The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and includes standard-height appliances, a breakfast bar, and clear floor space for seated use. Storage is primarily at standard height.
Bedrooms
There are three bedrooms in total.
One bedroom features a king-size bed with ensuite shower room.
The second bedroom includes twin beds and a fully accessible ensuite wet room with step free shower, shower seat, and grab rails.
The third bedroom also offers twin beds, with a cubicle shower in-room and a separate nearby WC.
At least one ground floor bedroom provides over one metre of transfer space beside the bed.
Bathrooms
The accessible wet room includes a wheel-in shower, handheld attachment, grab rails, wheel-under wash basin, and WC with side transfer space. Additional shower and toilet facilities are available elsewhere in the property.
Outdoor Areas
Guests can enjoy a paved patio and shared grassy courtyard areas. The wider estate includes extensive countryside, woodland, and trails, though surfaces beyond the immediate accommodation may vary due to the working farm environment.
Important Information
This property is suitable for wheelchair users and guests with limited mobility who require step-free access and an accessible wet room. Assistance dogs are welcome. As the cottage is located on an active sheep and cattle estate, guests should expect farm activity, animals, and varied outdoor terrain when exploring beyond the immediate accommodation.
