  Arrival, Parking and External Access Lime Lodge is designed entirely on one level with no internal steps or thresholds. There are three oversized designated parking spaces directly outside the lodge, providing ample room for wheelchair users and adapted vehicles. A large ramp leads from the parking area onto the surrounding decking and to the main entrance, allowing step free access into the property. Entrance and Doorways Access into the lodge is via the main entrance door from the decking. All external doors are 880mm wide with low threshold heights of 12mm. All internal doors are also 880mm wide, supporting easy wheelchair access throughout the lodge. Internal Layout and Circulation The lodge is fully single storey with no internal steps or raised thresholds. All rooms are generously sized, with a total footprint of approximately 249 square metres. Plug sockets and light switches are positioned at an accessible height of approximately 900mm from the floor. The open layout allows wheelchair users to move freely between the main living areas, bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and utility room. Living, Dining and Kitchen Area The main room is open plan and connects directly to the kitchen. Seating is arranged to allow wheelchair users to join both the sofa area and the dining table comfortably. The dining table is wheelchair friendly and seats up to eight guests. The kitchen has fully accessible units, including an accessible-height sink, with all areas designed for ease of use from a seated position. A utility room sits next to the kitchen and is also step free. Bedrooms All bedrooms are accessed via a wide hallway from the main room and kitchen. Each bedroom has its own en suite bathroom and an external door leading onto the decking. Bedroom 1 measures approximately 4.6 x 6 metres. Bedrooms 2, 3 and 4 each measure approximately 4.6 x 4.6 metres. All bedrooms offer ample space for wheelchair manoeuvring and can accommodate additional equipment if required. Bathroom and Shower Facilities All bathrooms are fully tiled wet rooms with comfort-height toilets, basins, and level access showers. Bathroom 1 includes a shower tray measuring approximately 140 x 80cm. Bathrooms 2 and 3 include shower trays measuring approximately 180 x 90cm. Bathroom 4 includes a shower tray measuring approximately 160 x 80cm. Bathrooms are designed to allow wheelchair access and assisted use where required. Disability Aids and Specialist Equipment A range of disability aids is available on request, including suction grab rails, manual wheeled shower chairs, adjustable height shower stools, a manual toilet surround, transfer boards, an IV stand, and a walking frame. Specialist equipment available includes two low profiling beds, two specialist mattresses, a manual hoist, two riser recliner chairs, and a gantry hoist. Guests must bring their own slings. All equipment is provided for use during the stay, and guests are responsible for any damage or breakages. Outdoor Areas The lodge is surrounded by approximately 1.4 metres of decking around the entire building, all treated with anti-slip surfacing. The main decking area measures approximately 15 x 4.8 metres and includes a BBQ and a private hot tub. Patio doors from the main room provide level access to the decking. Beyond the decking is a large grassed area enclosed by a beech hedge and stock fencing. Important Notes Lime Lodge is designed for wheelchair users and guests with mobility needs. While a wide range of equipment is available, guests should confirm availability in advance and bring any personal or specialist items required for their stay. Dogs Assistance Dogs are welcome – please request permission and provide details at time of booking. Please note that they must not be allowed onto soft furnishings or beds, and must not cause annoyance in any way to other guests in adjoining lodges.
