Bench Cottage is a purpose built, wheelchair friendly holiday bungalow located on the outskirts of Lymington, around two miles from the New Forest National Park. This single storey, semi detached cottage sleeps up to four guests and has been specifically designed to support disabled travellers, families, carers and guests with complex mobility needs. The cottage offers a calm and practical base for exploring the New Forest, Hampshire and Dorset, while providing a high level of on site accessibility and support. The property features an open plan living, dining and kitchen area designed for full wheelchair use, alongside two bedrooms and a spacious wet room with specialist equipment. This room has limited wheelchair turning space and is most suitable for carers, children or family members rather than full time wheelchair users. <strong>Wet Room and Bathroom Facilities</strong> The accessible wet room includes a ceiling mounted H hoist, a drop down changing stretcher, an adjustable height wash basin and a WC with drop down grab rails and lateral transfer space. Optional equipment includes wheeled or static shower chairs and a commode. The flooring is level and non slip throughout. <strong>Garden and Outdoor Space</strong> Guests have access to a large shared garden with level lawns, wildlife and sensory planting, seating areas, a swing seat and BBQ facilities.
