Good examples:
- “Level-entry coastal bungalow with wet room”
- “Family cottage with wheelchair friendly ground floor bedroom”
- “Town centre apartment with step free access and parking”
- Accessible London City Apartment
Avoid vague titles such as “Nice holiday home” or “Lovely flat.”
5. Upload Your Photos
Photos are one of the most important parts of your listing.
You should upload:
- Exterior view of the property
- Living room and main seating areas
- Kitchen
- Each bedroom (showing space around the bed where possible)
- Bathroom(s) including any wheelchair friendly features
- Hallways, entrances and ramps or level thresholds
- Garden, patio, parking area and paths
Tips:
- Click on the image you would like to be the featured image ( it will display a star )
- Use landscape images where possible
- Take photos in daylight
- Show wheelchair friendly features clearly, such as grab rails or level access showers
- Avoid blurry or dark images
You can usually drag to reorder images so your strongest photos appear first.
6. Add Property Text
In the description box, tell guests what they can expect. A simple structure works best:
- Overview of the property
For example: number of bedrooms, type of property, general feel. - Layout and sleeping arrangements
Where the bedrooms and bathrooms are, and any ground floor bedrooms. - Wheelchair friendly and accessibility details
Focus on level access, door widths if known, bathroom type, and parking. - Extras and highlights
Garden, views, nearby attractions, or anything that makes your place special. - Keep the tone natural and honest. Guests rely on accurate information, especially around accessibility.
Keywords
Add up to 10 property keywords e.g. Wheelchair Friendly Dottage Devon,Accessible Holiday Let Torquay
Labels
Select the labels that are suitable to your property these are displayed a pill tablet format on the property card in search results and property pages as a quick info section
External Booking Link
Add in your website or booking page if you would like to add in a direct booking link within the page
7. Add Property Details
- Select your property type
- Select whether your allow dogs or not
- How many bedrooms
- How many bathrooms
- how many guests the property sleeps
- Add your lowest price per night cost, if you can’t book 1 night take your lowest duration cost e.g. £250 for 2 nights and divide the cost by the number of nights.
- Tick all relevent accessibility features, if you have a feature not listed please let us know so we can add it in.
- Tick all relevent amenities, if you have a feature not listed please let us know so we can add it in.
For Disability Destinations, this is particularly important. Use the dedicated accessibility fields or description boxes to cover:
- Step free or ramped access
- Door widths if you know them
- Shower type (wet room, roll in, step in, over bath)
- Grab rails and shower chairs if available
- Height and space around the bed
- Parking distance from the entrance and surface type
- Any internal steps or slopes guests need to know about
Be honest about any limitations. It is better to be clear than to risk a bad experience for a guest.
8. Select Amenities and Features
You will see a list of checkboxes to describe what your property offers.
Common sections include:
- General facilities (Wi Fi, heating, TV, washing machine)
- Kitchen (hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher)
- Outdoor space (garden, patio, balcony, barbecue)
- Parking (on site, off street, designated accessible space)
- Family features (highchair, cot)
- Accessibility and wheelchair friendly features
Tick everything that applies. The more accurate this section is, the easier it is for guests to find the right stay.
9. Add Location Details
Next, you will be asked for the property location.
Fill in:
- Town or village
- Region or county
- Full address or partial address depending on your privacy settings
- Postcode
The map will usually update automatically. Check that the marker appears in roughly the correct place so guests understand where they will be staying.
10. Contact Details
In this section, you can enable the owner contact form, add in contact details, social links and your website
11. Set Pricing
In the pricing section, complete:
- Standard nightly or weekly rate
- Any seasonal rates (for example school holidays or peak summer)
- Cleaning fees or additional charges, if you use them
- Minimum stay length, such as 2 or 3 nights
Check your numbers carefully before moving on. Pricing mistakes can cause confusion or extra admin later.
12. Configure Availability and Calendar
You will now see a calendar and availability settings.
You can select the toggle to enable the booking and availability calendar:
- Open the calendar for dates you wish to accept bookings
- Block out dates you are not available or already booked through another channel
- Mark seasonal periods if relevant
Keep your calendar up to date to avoid disappointment and double bookings.
13. Add House Rules and Check in Information
Most listing forms will have space for:
- Check in and check out times
- House rules such as no smoking, quiet hours, or pet rules
- Information about service dogs or assistance animals
- Any specific instructions related to accessibility, for example using a ramp safely
Clear rules help manage expectations and reduce issues later.
14. Review Your Listing
Before you publish, take a moment to review:
- Is the title clear and descriptive
- Do the photos show the property and wheelchair friendly features accurately
- Does the description match the photos
- Are the accessibility details detailed enough for guests to decide
- Is pricing correct
- Is the calendar open for the right dates
If something looks wrong, you can go back and edit before saving.
15. Save and Publish
When everything is complete:
- Click Save, Submit or Publish, depending on what your button is called.
- On some platforms, your listing may go into Pending Review before becoming visible.
- Once approved, your property will appear in search results and can receive enquiries or bookings.
You can return to your listing at any time from the My Listings area to update details, photos, pricing or availability.
