The area boasts many welcoming pubs, with the nearest being the Troutbeck Inn, just 1 mile away in Troutbeck Village. For local produce, a fantastic farm shop is located 3 miles away on the A66.

Erika’s Cottage accommodates a maximum of 2 people, and well-behaved dogs are warmly welcomed, making it an ideal spot for a peaceful getaway with your furry friend.

The cottage features level access into the property and inclined access around the grounds, although the woodland is unsuitable for wheelchair access. Inside, the living room has level access, a 2-seater sofa, and an armchair on laminate flooring, with level access into the kitchen, which is equipped with a low-height oven and all amenities reachable from a seated position, though some cupboards may be out of reach.

The accessible bedroom includes a non-profiling double bed with space around it, while the bathroom features level access, a step-free shower with a handheld attachment, a wash basin with a lever-style tap, and transfer space beside the toilet.
